1. Before the measurement, the pointer of the hardness tester should be in the free state and should point to the zero position. If the amount of the pointer deviates from the zero position, the screw can be loosened in the upper right corner, the surface is rotated, and the zero position is aligned. Then press the hardness tester on the glass plate. When the end face of the press pin is in close contact with the bottom surface of the presser foot, the pointer should point to 100+/-0.5HA. If it is not pointing to 100+/-0.5HA, it can be slightly pressed. If the needle is pressed several times, if it still does not refer to 100 +/- 0.5 HA, the hardness tester cannot be used. When used on the Shore Durometer test rack, the handle can be moved to raise the table to the fixed weight, so that the end of the press pin and the presser foot surface are in close contact with the glass table, the pointer should point to 100. +/-0.5HA. If it does not mean 100+/-0.5HA, the adjustment screw of the workbench plane can be adjusted. If the pointer still does not refer to 100+/-0.5HA after adjustment, it is better to send the production unit to adjust.
2. Rubber sample and test temperature requirements: 1. The thickness of the rubber sample is not less than 6mm, the width is not less than 15mm, the length is not less than 35mm, and when the thickness of the sample is less than 6mm, the same film overlap measurement can be used, but no more than 3 layers. . And ask the film to be parallel up and down. 2. The room temperature is 23 °C ± 5 °C. The hardness tester is stored at this temperature for at least 1 hour.
3, plastic samples and test temperature requirements: 1, plastic samples are square, side length 50mm, thickness 6mm. A 50*15mm sample is also allowed. 2. Where possible, the sample shall be adjusted at the laboratory standard temperature in accordance with the provisions of GB/T531.-2008 before testing. The comparison test or series of tests must be carried out at the same temperature.
4, microporous material sample requirements: the thickness of the sample should be 10mm, the thickness of less than 10mm allows two pieces of superposition, but the contact surface must be smooth and smooth, the sample size should meet the distance between each test point and the sample edge Less than 15mm, no less than 15mm between each test point, and no less than three points for each sample test point.
5. The surface of rubber and plastic samples should be smooth and flat, and there should be no mechanical damage or impurities. The lifting shaft and the bottom of the table are fixed on the measuring rack. Please pay attention to the cleaning and apply a small amount of descaling oil to prevent rust.
6. After the hardness tester is used, put it into the instrument box or the instrument box and place it in a dry place to prevent moisture. The hardness tester shall be submitted regularly for inspection according to the regulations, and the verification period shall not exceed one year.
7. When the Shore hardness test is used, it is inaccurate when the A type hardness tester is lower than 10HA, and the measurement result cannot be used. A type D durometer is recommended when the value of the type A durometer exceeds 90HA.
