At present, only 20 energy-saving lamp manufacturing enterprises in China have passed the energy-saving logo certification, while products that fail to achieve the five-level logo certification will be forced out of the market. Industry insiders expect that by 2009, energy-saving lamps on the market in Wuhan will be labeled with energy efficiency.

Industry insiders remind consumers to choose one or two grades of products at the time of purchase, and to save energy at more than two grades. Although the price of energy-saving products is relatively high, the electricity cost saved in the later period will be considerable.
