At present, there is no special research on the night-time overall planning of small and medium-sized cities in China. Among the existing research results, different types of lighting methods such as residential lighting, road lighting, and commercial lighting have been studied in detail, and the method of constructing night lighting for "small business cards" for small and medium-sized cities has not been widely applied. In the process of urban lighting planning, in addition to classifying them into roads, businesses, schools, hospitals, hotels, and houses according to the special attributes of the buildings themselves, what we need to solve is to use the latest lighting technologies and means for the city. Tailor-made one of the most suitable local lighting methods.
This article takes Changzhou “One Road and Two Districts†night lighting planning project as an example to analyze the lighting design of this project under the guidance of low-carbon lighting and architectural lighting, and explores special custom lighting, lighting and special lighting. To play the role of building a "city card."
Overall design plan
By understanding the geography, history, and humanities of Changzhou, you can integrate local culture into the design planning process to create a nightscape image with local characteristics and heritage. Due to the large area of the entire planning area, regional division was carried out during the planning process, and reasonable planning and design for different areas made the entire planning plan clear and focused. The key design part: “One Road†– Heping North Road in the urban section; Tongjiang South Road and two districts: Wujin District – Changwu Road; Yanzheng Road; Huayuan Street; Xinbei District – Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway to the north Jiangyinjie, north of Longcheng Avenue, south of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, around the Olympic Sports Center.
1.1 City section lighting design
For the city section, most of the old roads are old buildings. It can be clearly seen from the building distribution map (Fig. 1). The nodes of the Palace of Culture are divided into sections. The former part is mostly hotels and hotels. The buildings are known through field research. The form is beautiful, and the later part of the Cultural Palace connects the Yanling Road, the most prosperous commercial street in Changzhou, and is mostly commercial buildings. In the lighting design process, it is hoped that the streets in Yanling Road will be connected to continue the prosperity of Yanling Road and visually expand the business district of Changzhou. Therefore, the part of the cultural palace node is added with rich and varied colors, emphasizing the dynamic method to create a lively and prosperous business atmosphere. For the part before the Cultural Palace, simple static floodlighting is used, supplemented by a small amount.
LED technique. Light color is suitable for warmth and comfort. The south of Tongjiang South Road is basically a new high-rise building. The residential carrier accounts for the majority of the road section. It is visually coherent and harmonious, and the business hotel is dotted with it, which enhances the rhythm of the rhythm. In the lighting design process of this roadside building, the communication needs to be considered in the human settlement environment, and the design method of linkage control is adopted in the planning. For buildings with the same appearance, the lighting method uses elements such as lines and points of the same composition to form a sense of unity and consistency, and adjacent building lighting adopts a similar color distribution. At the same time, we consider the residential community that forms the view in the street perspective, and we adopt local slow dynamic lighting.
1.2 Wujin District Lighting Design
Wujin District has a long tradition of humanity and Confucianism. It is not only an ecological and technological development park with vitality and individuality in the Yangtze River Delta, but also has won the title of “Top Ten†in the comprehensive strength ranking of small and medium-sized cities nationwide. Based on the visual framework of the natural environment and the human environment, Wujin District's design attempts to achieve style and rhythm through the heights and gaps between buildings.
Changwu Road is the main road of Wujin District. It connects the urban area with Wujin and runs through Wujin. Its importance determines its negligibility in lighting planning, and its length also determines the special considerations. . According to the on-site investigation, the six intersections of Changwu Road (see Figure 2) are the main nodes, and the buildings on the nodes are diverse and prosperous. In order to make the road form a consistent rhythm and not to be visually over-repetition leading to aesthetic fatigue and visual fatigue of drivers in the driving, we plan the main nodes according to the theme of different road sections, and innovatively combine advertising with modeling lights ( That is, the special luminaires, which are exemplified in the following examples, are placed on different road sections to make them orderly. The structure of the buildings on both sides of Changwu Road has various functions. The design of the street lamp ensures its consistency. In order to strengthen its consistency, we choose to control the light color of this roadside building, which also forms it and Wujin District. The difference between the overall color temperature of the two key sections.
On the two sides of Yanzheng Road, there are concentrated and upright new buildings. The core area is the seat of the district government in the west section of Yanzheng Middle Road. This area is also the concentrated area of the green square, and the Huanfu River adds agility. Taking into account the overall planning of Yanzheng Road, this is the core, causing the feeling of radiation to the surroundings. The choice of lighting techniques is based on the image of the district government's stable and arrogant atmosphere. It focuses on the color of the introverted color temperature, and uses the upward projection to reflect the vitality of the boom, using LED lighting.
Garden Street has gathered new residential areas and fashionable business districts, and has gradually developed into a core area of Wujin District integrating business, office, culture, residence and tourism. It was learned that Garden Street consists of five main blocks: Wujin TV Tower, Xincheng Nandu, Xincheng Shangjie, Xincheng Mansion and Jingcheng Mingxuan. The main purpose of this paragraph is to create an overall impression of “Hongda Garden Cityâ€. Innovative attempts have been made in landscape lighting and lighting essays to enhance the city's taste and reputation. The Wujin TV Tower, as a landmark building, also focuses on individual design (described later in the examples).
1.3 New North District Lighting Design
Xinbei District is based on the Changzhou National High-tech Development Zone. After 17 years of development and construction, it has become the most dynamic economic growth point in Changzhou and the “main position†of opening up. It has been rated as “the fastest growing high in the countryâ€. District", "Advanced National High-tech Zone", "The most competitive development zone in East China". Xinbei is the gateway to Changzhou from the north and the main direction of Changzhou's future development. It has gradually become the new urban center of Changzhou.
The north of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway to Jiangyin is the gateway to Changzhou from the north, and naturally becomes the image window of Changzhou. This section of the building is mainly residential and distributed on both sides of the highway. Transiters will leave a first impression of Changzhou during the highway's driving process. Considering that it is nighttime and the speed of the expressway is fast on the expressway, the lighting design not only needs to provide good functional protection for the road lighting, but also sets the warm and comfortable lighting color of the residential buildings on both sides to highlight the urban style.
The Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway is located in the north of Longcheng Avenue in the south, with Tongjiang Avenue as the main axis. The buildings along the line have various shapes and different styles. This section emphasizes the details in the choice of lighting techniques, so that visitors can carefully observe the scenery of Changzhou under the condition of forming a great impression of Changzhou. In the plan, we added chic elements to the monomers, highlighting their charms with changes in color, light and darkness. Overall, the color and color temperature control is used to ensure the consistency, and all lighting equipment is integrated into the overall planning, introducing advanced linkage control methods. The building embodies a harmonious movement while embodying the charm of the self, and highlights the active development of the New North atmosphere.
The Olympic Sports Center is an important event distribution center. The Olympic Sports Center is a landmark building with a higher brightness than the surrounding buildings. The surrounding architectural lighting style should be consistent with the overall style of the Olympic Sports Center area, and the brightness should not be too high. It does not stand out by brightness, but shows it in detail.
Monolithic design guiding ideology
Under the premise of planning and designing Changzhou as a whole, this paper uses a layer-by-layer approach to describe the ideas and guidelines considered in the single design, and further analyzes them through specific examples.
