Research on Lighting Environment of Gymnasium Badminton Court

1 stadium lighting illumination badminton shuttlecock Hall Overview
commonly employed in three forms, i.e. natural lighting, artificial lighting, and both simultaneously and with mixed lighting. Most of the modern badminton courts are mixed lighting, and the artificial lighting of the badminton court is general lighting. In the design of the badminton hall, to make the athlete accurately judge the ball path, height and drop point, the first is to make the best use of natural light, the effect of natural light is the best, of course, to prevent glare, not to allow excessive light or Reflected into the eye. The second is to increase the stability of the illumination and the uniformity and coordination of the distribution. This is not only important for athletes to achieve excellent results, but also for the accurate judgment of the referee and the appreciation of the audience.

Factors
sports venues lighting quality is good or bad quality of illumination 2 badminton courts mainly from the following five aspects: 1) the level of illumination: Illumination whether standard. 2) Uniformity of illumination: Whether the illumination of the sports ground is uniform. 3) Glare: Whether the glare is obvious. 4) Brightness ratio: The difference between the color and brightness of the object and the background. 5) Stability of lighting: Is there a strobe?

3 badminton courts lighting design case study
through field observations, on both sides of the gym badminton and off the glass walls rest on both sides of the wall. On sunny days, the average light in the badminton court was 410.75 lx, which reached the national training standard of 300 lx. The measured values are shown in Figure 1.

Relevant conclusions: 1) The data of Figure 1 is obtained after measurement with a illuminometer, and the illuminance is up to standard. 2) The illumination is uniform from Figure 1. 3) No glare. 4) It can clearly distinguish the badminton and the surrounding environment; the color and brightness are suitable. 5) There is no strobe and the illumination is stable. It can be seen that the lighting environment of the gymnasium badminton court during the day is relatively suitable. Therefore, the following is only for the light environment analysis of the badminton court at night.

3. 1 Illumination level Generally speaking, the vertical illumination should be greater than 1 / 2 of the horizontal illumination. When the vertical illumination is equal to the horizontal illumination, the environment of the exercise is optimal.

The measured data is shown in Figure 2. The average illuminance value of the badminton court is 107. 037 5 lx (there is no obvious light source around the venue to affect the lighting in the venue).

Relevant conclusion: The data of Fig. 2 is obtained after measurement with illuminance meter, and the illuminance does not meet the national training standard (GB 5003422004) 300 lx.

The main reasons are as follows: 1) Direct lighting at the top. The ceiling lighting fixtures are embedded and equidistant. This kind of illumination has good uniformity, but vertical illumination is difficult to meet the requirements. According to the survey [3], most of the stadiums in China use this kind of lighting. Since the lamps are single narrow light distribution lamps, the vertical illumination is generally insufficient, only 1/4 to 1/3 of the horizontal illumination. 2) Distribution of lamps. The lamps are sparse and the distribution is unreasonable. The distance from the sidewalk to the side of the field is maintained between L / 3 ~ L / 2 (L is the spacing of the fixtures). If the field, especially the wall reflection coefficient is too low, the distance from the lamp to the side of the field can be reduced to less than L / 3.

Actual analysis: the distance from the sidelight to the side of the field is L/ 2. It meets the theoretical requirements. In practice, the surrounding lamps should be encrypted, and the uniform lighting and the group of lamps should be combined. Solution: Increase the illuminance by adding luminaires.
