The Gaojiayuan Double-track Bridge is located in the upper reaches of the Gaojia Garden Bridge, with a 5m clearance between the two bridges. The double-track bridge has a total length of 982 meters. It is a one-way five-lane road and has a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour. It consists of a main bridge, approach bridge and Gaojiayuan Interchange, with a total investment of about 1.3 billion yuan. The Double Line Bridge is a control node project for the expansion of the north-west half ring of the Inner Ring Road. The main line is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2017 and will form a two-way, 11-lane, river-crossing channel with the Old Bridge.
