What is the color temperature?
To understand why color temperature is very important, you must first understand what it is.
Suppose a black metal object, for example, the filament of an incandescent light bulb, begins to heat it. As the filament heats up, it begins to glow. As the heating temperature gets higher, it is red, then yellow, white. And then a variety of shades of blue.
The various temperatures of the Kelvin thermometer correspond to the various wavelengths of light emitted from the filament. The lowest (about 1800 Kelvin or 1800K) corresponds to the intense orange-red light from a match or candle; at the high end (above 15000K), the reading corresponds to the observed clear blue sky light.

With different luminaires, the color temperature of your home lighting will change significantly. The terms “cold white†and “warm white†lighting may be marked on the incandescent or fluorescent bulb package, and may even find an estimated color temperature in degrees Kelvin on the back of a beautifully printed bulb.
Most commercial lighting is around 2000K and 6000K, but two color temperature levels dominate –
Around 2700K is usually expressed as "warm white" or "soft white." These lights are designed to resemble typical incandescent bulbs, providing an orange, comfortable "warm" light, just like in "grandmaid home." Warm light is considered a comfortable, warm family light, and it is best for use at home.
The 3500K is usually expressed as a "cold white" or "bright white" light field, which is a neutral color with a slight blue tint. Standard fluorescent lamps are usually at this color temperature, which is what you will find in most commercial environments where light is considered ideal for reading choices and other detail-focused work.
