Summary:
CS00301 is a high-precision intelligent battery charging management chip with features such as full function, low price, high integration, simple external circuit, convenient adjustment and good reliability.
The chip is charged by PWM pulse width modulation. It has three charging modes: turbulence, constant current and constant voltage. It has built-in high-precision sampling circuit, high voltage judgment accuracy, high charge saturation, and various fault protection functions. Reverse leakage current. Small, with different external circuits, can fully meet the charging requirements of lithium ion or lithium polymer batteries.
The chip determines the state of charge by detecting the state of the battery voltage. When the battery voltage is lower than the pre-charge voltage, the chip automatically performs pre-charging; when the battery voltage is higher than the pre-charge voltage and lower than the constant-voltage charging current, the chip begins to charge the battery with constant current, and the charging current is externally adjustable; When the voltage rises above the constant voltage charging voltage, the chip automatically enters constant voltage charging; when the charging current is less than the charging current, the charging ends. When the battery charging port is short-circuited, the chip reduces the charging current and performs short-circuit protection. During the charging process, the chip controls the charging temperature through the thermistor inside the battery. When the battery temperature is higher than the set temperature, the charging is stopped. When the voltage returns to temperature, continue charging.
